Every Wednesday evening at 7pm, we connect in small groups for intentional, interactive, educational discipleship on various Biblical topics. Each season, we present different classes for your personal growth and development in Christ. We have hybrid options this season, so please join a class either in person at the listed campus or online so we can grow in Christ together!

Becoming Myself (Madison Campus)

Becoming Myself (Madison Campus)

Leader: Pastor Kimberly Christmas

Run Dates: Full 11 weeks

God has dreams—just for you Becoming Myself is a hope-filled book for anyone who wonders if her life will ever change—if she will ever change. In Stasi Eldredge’s most intimate book yet, she shares her own struggles with self-worth, weight, and her past as she shows readers how God is faithfully unveiling who we truly are. Stasi urges you to lay down your past thoughts about yourself and receive God’s incredible dreams for you instead. We cannot heal ourselves. We cannot become ourselves by ourselves. But we are not by ourselves. The King of love wants to help us become. God desires to restore us—the real us. As he heals our inner life, he calls us to rise to the occasion of our lives. The most important journey any woman can take is the journey into becoming her true self through the love of God. It’s a beautiful paradox. The more of God’s you become, the more yourself you become—the “self” he had in mind when he thought of you before the creation of the world. Discover your truest self—the woman God created you to be—in Becoming Myself.

Walking in His Dust (Jewish Roots - Madison Campus)

Walking in His Dust (Jewish Roots - Madison Campus)

Leader: Pastor Joel Ness

Run Dates: Full 11 weeks

As the disciples traveled with Jesus from village to village, they watch, they listened. It was not just about what He said but the things He did, and along the way, they would be covered in His Dust.

What if we could scrub off the dust and the dirt of the ages to see the original Jesus in the Gospels? What if we allowed the scenery around Him to come to life so that we could visualize Him once again in His native culture? Jesus’ words would not change, but they would burst with new meaning when understood in the original context

Too often we find ourselves reading an Eastern Book through Western Eyes! So, in order to learn what Jesus was saying, we need to dig deep and learn about the ancient time, the customs and the culture. We need to learn the Hebraisms and idioms of that time so we do not miss what was being said.

Defeating The Spirit of Poverty (South Huntsville Campus)

Defeating The Spirit of Poverty (South Huntsville Campus)

Leader: Pastor Bruce Alexander

Run Dates: 5 weeks (May 10 – June 7)

When most people think of poverty, money is the only thing that comes to mind.  While financial hardship is a major issue, the spirit of poverty is a mindset that affects every aspect of a person’s life, and it may be robbing you of living the life of abundance (spiritual, emotional, physical, financial) Jesus promised us. This track will work toward identifying and combating it to gain freedom in everyday life.

Study: Book of James (South Huntsville Campus)

Study: Book of James (South Huntsville Campus)

Leader: Kadijah Wiggins

Run Dates: 6 weeks (June 14 – July 26)

Cherished for its practical instruction on Christian living, the book of James encourages believers to become truly wise by living according to the teachings of Jesus. It’s not enough for us to know the word; we must put it into action through how we live. This six-week study will take us through the book of James, passage by passage, so we can better understand this short but powerful book and apply its practical wisdom to our lives. We will explore topics regarding faith and works, staying faithful under persecution, partiality in the body of Christ, patience, the importance of taming the tongue, prayer, and more. Join us as we dive deep into the book of James and accept the challenge to live out our faith, being not just a hearer but a doer of the word.
