A Promise Kept

May 28, 2023    Chris Thomas

Welcome to Restoration Church South Huntsville Campus, where we believe in the transformational power of God's love and the importance of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

In this enlightening sermon, Chris Thomas dives deep into the understanding of God's love and the role of Jesus Christ. He discusses the significance of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and the importance of acknowledging and accepting His love to experience true transformation and redemption.

Through the lens of John 3:16-18, Chris explains how God's love is the key to eternal life and salvation. He elaborates on the importance of receiving Jesus, understanding His sacrifice, and the spiritual significance of His resurrection and ascension.

Moreover, Chris sheds light on the momentous event of Pentecost, often regarded as the "birth of the Church." He underscores the significance of unity, shared purpose, and faith among believers as depicted in Acts 1:13-15 and further explored in the book of Acts.

Chris then challenges us to introspect - Are we living spirit-filled lives? Are we on one accord? He drives home the importance of unity and communal living as demonstrated by the early church.

Finally, Chris exhorts us to honor the Holy Spirit and the significant role He plays in our lives as believers. He invites us to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, to live lives led by the Spirit rather than worldly pursuits.

This sermon is a call to action. A call to embrace the love of God fully, to honor and receive the Holy Spirit, and to live out the Great Commission as Jesus instructed in Matthew 28:18-20. It's a call to each one of us to rise, to witness, and to be the light of God in this world.

Watch, engage, and allow this message to minister to you as you journey in your faith.
